The processes in investment sector are determined by a general economic situation, first of all by the dynamics of manufacture and inflation rate, the condition of financecredit system and the level of solvent demand.
In 2007 investment activity in the Krasnoyarsk Krai increased. In 2007 about 118 billion rubles of investments were spent into a fixed capital on economy and social sphere development in the Krasnoyarsk Krai (increased by 10,2 %in comparison with 2006).

The biggest share of investments into a fixed capital is sent to industrial production and transport. The increase of investments in the Krasnoyarsk Krai in 2007 was caused by realization of large investment projects:
• integrated development of Lower Angara River Region, including the Boguchansk HPS Construction and aluminum plant construction, creation of the transport, power and social infrastructure of territory;
• development the Vankor group of oil-and-gas deposits;
• creation of Krasnoyarsk multimodal transport hub on the basis of airport Yemelyanovo, including the reconstruction of a runway, reorganization and expansion of the base airport;
• construction of automobile detour of Krasnoyarsk with the bridge through Yenisey River;
• construction of Sosnovoborsk TPS.
12,3 billion US dollars of foreign investments were received in 2007.

The analysis of investment receipts structure according to the types of economic activity showed that 99,99 % of foreign investments were directed to processing manufactures, 0,002 % — to construction, 0,002 % to operation with real estate, rent and granting of services.

In the Krasnoyarsk Krai since 2004 the budge of development have being formed for supporting of investment activity. State support from the budget development’s funds is realized in the form of subsidizing of part of investment credit rares and subsidizing of part of expenditures connected with lease payment, also in the form of projects budget investments, having significant importance for the Krasnoyarsk economy.
In 2004—1007 the state supporting in the form of subsidizing of part of expenditures on credits or leasing contracts was granted to 20 large investment projects of Krasnoyarsk enterprises and also to the 77 small business enterprises. Total volume of investments on supporting projects made 5 566 mln rubles, from the regional budget — 154,7 mln rubles. As a result of realization of investment projects by the end of 2007 more then 5 thousand workplaces were created and kept, additional tax payments in the consolidated budget of the Krai made more than 300 million rubles annually.
On each ruble of budgetary funds in the consolidated budget of the Krai 8 rubles of additional tax payments have added.
On financing of investment projects and objects of the infrastructure within the state-private partnership for 2004—2007 3 518 906 thousand rubles were directed from the regional budget.
Enterprises, investing funds in the renovation and modernization of fixed capitals are given support in the form of reduction of rates on property tax.
